Hey! I’m back after a month… Sorry I ditched you guys, I was on a really bad slump and had no idea what to write.
Until the ever brilliant past Moi gave me some masterpieces to review.
Here are some of the short stories written by past Moi..
Past Moi (7th grade)
The story of the world’s shortest pencil
Once upon a time… (actually, a month ago) a pencil was born. The pencil was sharpened until it was very short.
The pencil didn’t want to be sharpened any more. But its owner told it that it was born to be sharpened. So, it was sharpened and was brutally murdered.
The End
*slow clapping*
Wasn’t that the greatest thing you’ve ever read? (Keep in mind that I was just fooling around at the time. This wasn’t my full potential! I was, and still am, insanely critical of my own writing!)
Now, if I am a politician, or an under-handed old bat who wants all the attention (again, a politician!)I’d tell you that Past Moi wrote this story as a metaphor of life.
There will always be people who will tell you what to do, to say and to feel. Don’t start to waver because of them. Just keep calm and eat your donut. You are the only person who decides your destiny. Otherwise, you’ll be brutally murdered.
But unfortunately for me, Past Moi had none of that intentions. So we’re here with this abomination.
Past Moi (4th grade)
The Kid Catchers
(I’m removing the names as they’re basically my friends’! I’m M(surprise?) and my best friend at the time is J. G and S are friends. )
Once upon a time, there lived 4 sweet friends – G, S, J and M.
One day, when they were playing, G looked frightened. She pointed to the bushes. Everyone looked there and saw someone. That someone was probably a girl as they were wearing skirts, fully black. Their whole attire was black.
Soon, 2 girls just like that appeared behind them and started chasing the 4 friends. They all ran away. G and S in one direction and J and M in another.
“J and M will surely be caught.” Said S. Suddenly, the girls wearing black caught them. J and M, who were hiding, saw this.
“We have to save them!” J said. “We will.” M replied, determination shadowed across her face. They went in search for G and S.
Meanwhile, G shoved the girl who caught her and S did the same. They bumped into J and M.
“We haven’t seen A, D or P today, have we?” “No…” M mused. “Maybe…Just maybe…” “Maybe what?” S asked impatiently.
“Maybe they’re the Kid Catchers.” M replied. “There were 3 of them, right?”
The girls caught the Kid Catchers. When they took off their hats and coats, they were looking at A, P and D!
“So it is you!” J said. “Yes.” replied D.
“Then…rematch?” Grinned G.
Believe it or not, I actually remember writing this! I had a nightmare that was this exact story. So, I drafted this thing off and refined it.
Oh, the nostalgia…
But seriously, this story wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be! I mean, it’s horrible, but I expected worse. Good job, Past Moi. You exceeded my expectations. (though they were very low to begin with!)
So, what do you guys think of the stories? Would you like these posts to be a series? (I have a lot more terrific stories that I would love to share with you!)!
Let’s talk! It’s been way too long!

Haha π
That first one – ooof I feel so sorry for the lilβ pencil, especially since I imagined him to be all cute and everything π and the second one had me a bit confused but hey, iss all good π

π€£ Mere mortals can’t appreciate the richness of Past Moi’s writing. So don’t feel bad. *pats clumsily on shoulder*

Hahahaha – that first one is definitely a profound metaphor for the meaning of life! You should definitely use it as a hook to a speech or something sometime π€£π€£
I’m really bummed you left the important part out of that second story, though π€¨ I wanted to know how you guys caught the Kid Catchers π€£π€£
Great post, Moi π

Haha! Thanks, Naemi!
I’d like to know how we caught them too! Past Moi was really interested in their clothing and names than the most important detail!
